Who controls the XMR?
Trade deposits are held in a server wallet controlled by Moneso. This is not a non-custodial or multisignature system. A compromised or unavailable platform can put funds at risk.

The trader’s margin is reflected in the offer price. Separately, 1% of the buyer’s XMR allocation and the actual Monero network fee are deducted from the payout. A 0% margin does not mean zero fees.

Moneso administrators review the trade and its chat. Disputed trades remain on hold pending a decision. Administrators are part of the platform, not an independent arbitration service. Review cannot eliminate fraud or fiat payment reversal risk.
Keep agreements and evidence inside the trade. A chat message alone does not cancel a trade or open a dispute.

Buyer and seller review each other after a confirmed payout. Reviews become public after both submit or after 14 days. Read the review count and the trading role as well as the score. A review is not a guarantee of identity or future performance.

- Independent security review
- No completed independent penetration test or security certification is claimed. Internal checks and product fixes are not an independent audit.
- Service availability
- The status page provides limited, timestamped checks. It is not proof of reserves, an independent uptime report or a guarantee that a payout will succeed. Check service status →
- Operator information
- A verified legal operator identity and registered business address are not yet published here. Do not treat the Moneso brand or a social-media badge as verification of a legal entity.
- Private information
- Trade chats can be read by participants and authorized administrators; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Monero’s on-chain privacy does not make bank transfers or marketplace records anonymous.
- Real experiences
- Only use published reviews and accounts of real experiences. No customer testimonial, independent endorsement or successful-trade total is claimed on this page.
Questions before committing funds?
Ask about setup or the trading process without depositing. Never send passwords, wallet recovery words or private bank details in a general enquiry.
