Trade with a clear
understanding of risk.

Good security comes from verifiable controls and careful decisions. Protect your account, check your counterparty and understand how your funds are handled.

01

Protect your account

Enable an authenticator app in account settings. Use a unique password and keep a secure backup of your authenticator. Moneso will never need your wallet seed phrase.

02

Check the actual address

Open www.mone.so directly. Verify the wallet address in your own wallet before saving it. An address change applies to new trades; it does not rewrite an existing payout destination.

03

Keep evidence in the trade

Use the trade chat for agreements and payment evidence. Do not move a trade to an impersonator’s chat, follow unexpected payment links or share passwords and authenticator codes.

Verify payment before release

A screenshot is not proof that money reached your account. Check the payment yourself before confirming receipt. If something is wrong, open a dispute before the payout starts.

What Moneso protects — and what it cannot promise

Custodial trade deposits
Trade deposits are held by a server wallet controlled by the platform. This is not a non-custodial or multisignature system. A platform or wallet compromise remains a material risk.
Private account and trade data
Saved receiving addresses are restricted to the account owner and authorized services. Trade chats are available to the participants and administrators for support. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted.
Online status
“Online” means a signed-in browser contacted Moneso recently. It is approximate and does not establish identity, trustworthiness or a guaranteed response time.
Reputation and payment risk
Recorded trades and reviews are context, not a guarantee. Fiat payments can carry fraud or reversal risk depending on the payment method. Do not release funds based on pressure or an unverified receipt.
Public-page statistics
Moneso counts public page views and entry pages without analytics cookies or persistent visitor IDs. Private account and trade pages are excluded. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Separate daily totals include broad screen sizes, approximate connection countries, browser and operating-system families, and fixed referral categories. Full referrer URLs and browser strings are not stored. These totals do not identify individual visitors; VPNs and Tor can change the reported country. Short-lived rotating hashes limit abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in analytics tables.
Security assurance
No independent penetration test or security certification is claimed. Two-factor authentication and access controls reduce risks; they cannot make a financial service immune to compromise.
