Follow the trade steps
Keep messages in the trade chat. Follow the deposit and payment steps, verify fiat receipt before release, and review your trading partner after completion.
Make it easy for a buyer to choose you.
- Use the actual payment currency.
Supported offer currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, SEK, NOK. State what the buyer must pay. Request a missing currency or payment method →
- Set limits you can fund.
The seller deposits XMR for the trade first. The buyer sends fiat only after Moneso confirms funding. Choose an amount you can supply without using that buyer’s payment to obtain the XMR.
- Tell buyers when you can reply.
Include days, hours and a time zone in your terms, plus a realistic reply estimate. Keep your account page open while available and check for new trades. Pause your offer when you cannot respond.
- Check your public offer.
After publishing, open the matching currency and payment-method market. Check the limits and terms, then share your public offer link. An active listing does not mean the seller is online.

Understand the trade before you start.
- Custody and payout
- Moneso is custodial: deposits are held in a platform-controlled wallet. After the seller confirms fiat receipt, eligible trades pay out to the buyer’s wallet set at trade creation. Disputed trades remain on hold pending a decision. No independent security audit is claimed.
- Fees and your margin
- The buyer’s XMR allocation is reduced by a 1% platform fee and the actual Monero network fee. Your offer’s price margin is separate. See the fee example →
- Payment responsibilities
- Check your own payment account before confirming receipt. A screenshot or chat message is not proof of payment. Dispute review does not eliminate fraud or payment reversal risk. Read the security model →
- Reviews from both sides
- Buyer and seller rate each other after a confirmed payout. Ratings become public when both submit or after 14 days. Outstanding reviews must be submitted before starting another trade.

Do I need to apply to become a provider?
No. Create your account and post an offer directly. The help form below is optional and is not an approval step.
Do I need to deposit before asking for help?
No. Asking for help does not create a trade or require a deposit. Trade deposits are handled separately within the trade flow.
Is trading volume guaranteed?
No. Moneso is early-stage and liquidity is limited. Publishing an offer does not guarantee customers or income.
Can I trade from any country?
Availability and applicable requirements depend on your location and activity. Creating an account or offer is not regulatory approval.
